What is Rosé Festival Odense?
Rosé Festival Odense is Denmark’s largest festival dedicated to rosé wine. Held annually in Ansgar Anlæg in the center of Odense, it brings together 2,300–2,500 guests for a day filled with tastings, music, and a cozy atmosphere. Your ticket includes 15 tasting pours of rosé from 15 different wine exhibitors, letting you explore everything from crisp, dry rosés to fruity and sparkling varieties. The festival is more than just wine—it’s a pink tradition where community, summer joy, and festive highlights create a truly unique experience in the heart of Odense.
When will Rosé Festival Odense 2026 be held?
Rosé Festival Odense will be held on 23 May 2026.
When does the festival start and end?
The festival grounds open at 10:30 and close at 22:00. The first wine serving is from 11:00 and the last serving is at 17:00—after that, the afterparty begins. You can enter the festival at any time throughout the day until 22:00, so you don’t have to arrive right at opening. Please note that the last opportunity to collect your stamp card, wristband, and stamp card is at 16:00, and the final serving using your stamp card is at 17:00.
Where are the festival grounds located, and how do I find the entrance?
You’ll find the festival grounds in Ansgar Anlæg on Sdr. Boulevard—right between Ansgar Church and Odense Soldaterhjem. Walk from the church toward the soldiers’ home and you’ll see the entrance. Just follow the crowd of guests in pink.
How many guests usually attend?
Each year, 2,300–2,500 guests attend Rosé Festival Odense.
Can you buy a ticket if you are under 18 years old?
No. Rosé Festival Odense has a minimum age of 18. Guests may be asked to present valid photo ID at the entrance.
How do I redeem my ticket purchased online?
There will be a ticket and info tent by the entrance. Show your ticket there to receive a wristband, a program with a stamp card, and your own personal rosé wine glass. After that, you’re ready to make your way through the 15 different tastings. Remember: you’ll need both your stamp card and your glass at each exhibitor.
What is included in the ticket?
A ticket includes 15 tasting pours of rosé from 15 wine exhibitors, your own original Riedel “Vinum Extreme Rosé” glass engraved with the year and logo, and an afterparty with a DJ and live music.
Who is behind the festival?
Rosé Festival Odense is owned and organized by two local enthusiasts, Eva Skytte and Morten Skytte—who also own and run Odense Aafart on a daily basis.
Can a ticket be shared between multiple people?
No. Sharing a ticket among multiple people is not allowed. At the entrance, all guests receive a wristband, which must be worn to be on the festival grounds. Everyone must have their own ticket to receive a wristband.
Are companion cards accepted?
Unfortunately, companion cards are not accepted. Everyone must have their own ticket to access the festival grounds.
How do the tastings work?
When you’d like a tasting from an exhibitor, simply show your wristband and get a stamp on the stamp card on the back of your program. This helps you track which exhibitors you still need to visit. In the program, you can also rate the different wines with stars so you’ll easily remember your favorites. So remember to bring a pen or something similar..
Which awards/competitions take place at the festival?
We crown the festival’s Best Wine of the Year.
Who should win the title “Best Rosé Wine of the Year”? Cast your vote with the cork you received at the information tent.
Best Dressed Man and Best Dressed Woman.
The best-dressed — in pink — man and woman will each win two tickets to next year’s Rosé Festival Odense plus a magnum of rosé wine.
Best Dressed Group.
If a group has coordinated outfits and/or beautifully decorated their table, they’ll have the chance to win two magnums of rosé wine.
How does tapas pickup work?
If you have pre-ordered tapas, you can pick it up at the tapas tent upon presenting your ticket/receipt. Tapas platters are not sold on
the day of the festival.
Can you bring children?
No. Children under 18 are not permitted. All guests must wear a wristband and be at least 18 years old.
Are dogs allowed?
No, dogs are not allowed.
Are you allowed to bring food and drinks into the festival grounds?
No, bringing your own food and drinks is not permitted. There will be several food and beverage stalls around the grounds, including options for vegans, vegetarians, and those who are gluten-intolerant.
Are there seating areas on the festival grounds?
There will be plenty of table-and-bench sets on the festival grounds, each seating up to 8 people. You’re welcome to bring a festival chair or a blanket into the area.
Is there a cloakroom where I can store my belongings?
There will be no cloakroom on site, so you’ll need to keep your belongings with you around the grounds.
What should I do if my glass breaks?

What should I do if I lose my program?
We’re unable to issue a new program. Your program also serves as your stamp card, so keep it with you—without it, you can’t receive tastings. . .
What should I do about lost and found items?
Tabte sager vil under festivalens forløb blive indsamlet i info-teltet.
Du kan afhente glemte sager søndag, mens vi pakker ned, og fra mandag og 14 dage frem kan du afhente ved Odense Aafart (Filosofgangen 30, 5000 Odense C). 14 dage efter festivalen bliver ikke afhentede sager afleveret på hittegodskontoret.

How do I get to the festival?
If you’re arriving by train or bus, get off at Odense Banegård Center; it’s just under a 2 km walk to Ansgar Anlæg. You can also take buses 51, 52, or 151 towards Assens and get off at Ansgar Church. If you’re coming by car, parking is available on the side streets off Søndre Boulevard.
